The Making of a Major Championship

Have you ever wondered what goes into putting on a Major Championship? Learn about the years long journey that the PGA of America, Oak Hill and the Rochester community have been on in preparation for the 2023 PGA Championship this May. Bryan Karns, serves as the Championship Director for the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club as well as the 25 Ryder Cup at Bethpage State Park. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site operations, revenue generation, community outreach, and government relations for the Championship. Bryan will share the ins and outs of the PGA tournament with our club on Tuesday, March 28th at Oak Hill Country Club.
