On Wednesday, August 3rd, at 5:00 pm the DEI Committee will be hosting a happy hour and fundraiser at Three Heads Brewing. The fundraiser is in support of our participation in a business pitch competition for early-stage businesses in our local community. We need to raise a minimum of $1,000 for our prize which will be given to a company which best exhibits the values of the Rotary 4-way test. Please come out and enjoy a good time at happy hour and make a donation to support our prize at the competition. You will be able to make your donation at the event. The competition and awarding of the prize will be held on Thursday, August 25th at the Hyatt Regency. Please mark your calendars for this event which will be supported by many of the entrepreneurial support organizations in our community.

• 10 Local early-stage companies have been selected to pitch
• The companies will go through a 4-week training program to prepare for the competition
• Grand Prize: $25,000

Rochester Rotary is sponsoring a secondary prize which we will call the 4-way test award. It will go to the company who most exhibits the qualities of the 4-way test. The winner will be selected by the instructors of the training who will have close contact with the companies prior to the competition. We need to raise a minimum of $1000 to support our prize.
